HIP: Home Information Pack

A Home Information Pack is a collection of information that a seller must provide when they place their property on the market.

There are plenty of new businesses springing up to make money out of this, but at mkdea, we only have one goal, to help you get a HIP pack as cheaply as possible.

Ask mkdea for a HIP and we will introduce you to one of many local solicitors. They provide in our opinion, by far the best way to get a HIP, and the cheapest too! We don't make any money from this, we do it because it's the best customer service we can provide.

The HIP must by law contain the following items:

Home Information Pack Index
Sale Statement
Standard Searches
Evidence of Title
An Energy Performance Certificate

Optionally it may contain:

Home Condition Report
Legal Summary
Home Use/Contents Forms
Other Documents

Regulations introduced in Ruth Kelly's speach on the House Of Commons on 22nd May mean that you can now market your house whilst a pack is prepared, so you don't have to wait any longer than normal to sell your house.!
